Dr. Lionel Jedeikin

Facial and Rhinoplasty Specialist

Dr. Lionel Jedeikin is a Plastic and Reconstructive surgeon whose life ambition has been to establish and manage a fully registered Surgical facility. He is a director and the CEO of Alchimia Clinic. Alchimia was born in April 2016 , after many hours of planning, preparation and enthusiasm. He prides himself on the fact that this small 4 bed hospital with two operating theaters, has been equipped and staffed, with no expense spared. Brand new surgical and anaesthetic equipment (GE) , including the mandatory air-conditioning and sterilizing equipment, has been installed by the best professionals and brands in the field.

“I inspect the clinic two to three times a day emphasizing to my staff that sterility is paramount.”, says Dr. Jedeikin.

Dr. Dale Geoffreys

Plastic Surgeon : Body Contouring , Liposuction and Breast Specialist

Dr. Geoffreys finished his medical training at the University of Cape town in 2001, after which he did the standard internship and community service years. Dr Geoffreys then ventured overseas and spent almost 2 years in Glasgow, Scotland at the Nuffield Hospital where he interest in plastic surgery started in earnest.

He was encouraged to follow his dream whilst under the mentorship of some of the leading plastic surgeons in Scotland, and the greater UK.

Dr. Aimee Jenkin

Plastic Surgeon : Breast Specialist

Dr Jenkin completed her undergraduate training at The University of the Witwatersrand in 2001. After working and traveling abroad for a year she returned to South Africa to complete her internship and community service training in the Eastern Cape. It was here, under the mentorship of a few dedicated surgeons, whose passion for their patients and craft, inspired a career in Surgery.

Back in Johannesburg on the Wits surgical training circuit Plastic Surgery quickly became the obvious choice, combining the artistry and technicality that exemplifies this surgical specialty. Dr Jenkin completed her training as a Plastic and Reconstructive surgeon in 2012 and continued to work at Johannesburg’s main teaching hospital , Charlotte Maxeke

Dr. Gareth Tjasink

Body Contouring, Liposuction and Breast Specialist

After completion of my Matric at Dale College in the Eastern Cape, I travelled abroad to the United States of America to begin my undergraduate Pre-Med degree. I then attended Medical school at the University of Cape Town, completing my degree in 2005. Following this I worked on the University of Witwatersrand medical circuit, completing 3 years as a general surgery registrar, and 5 years as a Plastic Surgery Registrar. Since then I have run a Burns unit in Leratong Hospital and worked closely with my mentor, Professor Russell Walton, in my cosmetic practise.

Dr. David Lovric

Plastic Surgeon : Body Contouring Specialist

With 25 years of experience in plastic surgery, Dr Lovric is known for his breast and body contouring surgery and is passionate about creating a natural result which he believes his patients deserve, both now and in the future. Dr Lovric has extensive experience with most forms of liposuction surgery including S.A.F.E. lipo. He sculpts the body fat to achieve well proportioned and desirable results.

Having trained at the University of Witwatersrand Plastic Surgery Department, Dr Lovric has immense experience in Hand Surgery and Microsurgery and set up the Free Flap Reconstructions at Tygerberg Academic Hospital before he moved into Private Practice at Christiaan Barnard Memorial in 2003.

Dr. Hamzah Mustak

Cosmetic Oculoplastic Surgeon

Dr. Hamzah Mustak is an ophthalmologist with a special interest in ocular oncology, oculoplastic and orbital surgery. He is a member of the International Society of Ocular Oncology and heads the oncology, orbital and oculoplastic service in the division of ophthalmology at Groote Schuur Hospital, Cape Town.

Dr. Mustak completed his specialist training in ophthalmology at the University of Cape Town and continued with a fellowship in orbital and oculoplastic surgery at the Stein Eye Institute in Los Angeles, under Professor Robert Goldberg, in 2017. During his fellowship he developed a strong interest in upper facial cosmetic surgery as well as non-surgical cosmetic procedures, in particular the use of hyaluronic acid gel fillers and botox in the peri-ocular region.
